Bleeding in pregnancy is any bleeding from genital tract after 24 weeks of gestation. Systemic causes such as bleeding disorders and drugs such anticoagulant and bleeding from other sites ( bladder and bowel) should be excluded before looking for obstetrics causes.

Symptoms of bleeding in early pregnancy

Hemorrhage in the first trimester is mainly manifested by a small amount of bloody discharge in the vagina, similar to the amount of bleeding at the beginning or the end of menstruation. The color of the bleeding may be pink, red, or brown.

Avoid entering or leaving hot places such as saunas because the fetus has not yet formed in the early pregnancy, and the embryo is still unstable in the uterine wall. Secondly, high temperature of the body will dilate the blood vessels of pregnant women, and the blood will flow to the skin surface, which will increase the load of the heart, which may cause heart attacks in pregnant women.

What to do with bleeding in early pregnancy

No matter whether it is early pregnancy or any period of pregnancy, any bleeding symptoms need to be told to the doctor, usually minor bleeding will not be considered a serious problem. However, if you see red or bleeding blood, especially with abdominal pain or colic, it is best to see a doctor immediately.
